Saint Philip's is an Orthodox church with a definitive view toward the acceptance and healing of the human person in it's entirety. Fathers Noah and James, in addition to their adherence to the traditional Orthodox mindset and worldview, also treat with the utmost seriousness the understanding, that the The Church is viewed as a hospital for the entire individual. The Divine Liturgy provides an entrance into Heaven on Earth, with the reception of The Eucharist as the true medicine for soul and body. St. Philip's is a haven for all who desire to know Christ. To serve Him and to make Him known. There is kindness, consideration and genuine wisdom while speaking to the priests. The congregation is wonderfully and ethnically diverse, with a beautiful convergence of joyful acceptance. There are various programs, offering the opportunity for church and community involvement. Each Sunday Divine Liturgy is followed by the 'coffee hour', a time for getting to know others in a friendly atmosphere over a small meal. This is a warm and wonderful Orthodox parish. I am blessed to be here. Glory to Jesus Christ. Glory forever!
